Everything I "don't" know about HERBS, but am trying to learn...

Spring is almost here!!!!! Yahhhhh

     I started on a journey last year with much  excitement and enthusiasm. My small scale gardening wasn't satisfying my heartfelt need to get my hands dirty and I needed direction.

I'm a dirt person. I trust the dirt. I don't trust diamonds and gold.

So I decided to learn more. Simple searching on social media sites has me with as many as 250 comments on my news feed in less than 8 hours. What have I done!!!!!!

Well let me tell you:

Last spring I acquired 5 hens. Yes they all have names: Tilly, Betty, Anastasia (Granddaughter named this one), BooBoo, and Dinner (son named this one LOL).
Not sure if all the neighbors realize I have these chickens yet, but the ones that do have reaped the rewards!! Gotta keep those neighbors happy/bribed.

Well since I HAD to build the chicken coop (out of pallets) in the back yard, the garden had to be moved. Yep, you guessed it----- to the "front yard". I decided I would just put in a couple of raised beds. By this time it was the end of June. It gets really steamy here and I decided not to plant veggies. I had a couple of tomatoes in pots, that would have to do. 

By now I guess you're wondering where I'm going with this,

I new I couldn't go the entire summer without getting my hands in the dirt, so my journey began.

 Seems there's a lot I don't know about herbs.
